
A Medieval wedding is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate one of the most popular Eras of Romance that is captured in art, architecture and music. Make your wedding a historical romantic day that captures the wedding traditions of this earlier time! The Medieval Feast: The feast is the cornerstone of the medieval wedding. Wedding dinners ranged from stuffed peacocks, swans, roasted wild boar and smoked meat haunches to breads, cheeses, cured meats and sausages. Fresh fruits and vegetables were typically only available in the harvest season, chutneys and preserves were more prevalent in the rest of the year and popular at feasts and gatherings.

Charcuterie Cups: Small appetizer size cups or larger cups are available. $5/each small $8/each large
Hand Pies: Small pastry tarts with traditional medieval meat fillings. Choice of ground pork, turkey, chicken or beef. Contain onions, garlic, seasonings. Cheese can be included or left out. Hand Pies: $4 each (small) $8 (large)
Smoked Salmon Terrine: Fish was a staple at medieval weddings. Smoked salmon terrine is a loaf with layers of salmon, cream cheese, pesto. It is served with a sharp knife guests can slice off a piece to place on a cracker or slice of bread. Serves 25-30 people. Beef Carpaccio Appetizers: Beef carpaccio with a hirseradish sauce on a mini toast or cracker. $3 each.
Bread Trenchers: Bread trenchers were used to serve stews. Options for stew below. $5 each for trencher without filling Filling Options: Braised Beef Rib Stew (Beef rib, currants, medieval spices including saffron). Chicken with Date Stew (Chicken, Dates, medieval spices).
